All AACT member organizations have the opportunity to participate in this national
theatre experience without leaving home! Connect your theatre with 1,000 others
by participating in "Act Locally, AACT Nationally: Celebrating Stephen
Schwartz."
Through the years, our community theatre stages have been filled with the lyrics
and music of Stephen Schwartz. To honor Mr. Schwartz's contributions to
community theatre, AACT will be awarding him the Creative Contribution Citation
during our July 2008 NYC convention.
Great Incentives on Immortal Shows
As part of the celebration, Music Theatre International is offering AACT members
a special
royalty incentive on selected Schwartz titles, explained below, and in a packet sent to
community theatre companies in late August. Add to this a number of benefits soon to
come from AACT, and you've got an unbeatable combination!
