Businesses that provide goods and services to community theatres have long been involved with AACT-- advertising in publications, exhibiting at festivals, providing AACT member discounts, sponsoring events, and more. Some joined AACT, although there were few member benefits for them.
Now businesses have their own AACT membership
category, with two levels of Commercial Membership, each with a benefit package.
Commercial Membership fees provide AACT with needed revenue and, in turn, give businesses that join AACT greater visibility and discounts on AACT promotional products--such
as, advertising and mailing list rentals. Businesses can consider the fees as marketing expense or as contributions.
Commercial Membership is available at $500 (Basic) and $1000 (Elite).
Commercial Members at both levels will be included in a new Commercial Members listing in the printed Directory and on the AACT
website. The website listing also includes a link to the business member's website.
Commercial Members will receive AACT's
newsletter (Spotlight), the Membership Directory, and a 10% discount on Spotlight and Directory advertising, and on mailing list rentals.
In addition, Elite level Commercial Members also receive recognition and a link on the AACT website home page, plus an article featuring the business in
